Description of the problem	Takata recall.... I am concerned about the fact that my car is one of those under this recall and i have had for more than a year an alert on my display when starting the car indicating "srs malfunction service required". I took the car back to mercedes once who told me it was a dummy light and was cleared. Several days later it came back on and my calls to the shop were not returned. I then learned of this recall and when finally reaching someone was told it may be related and that i will receive instructions when a repair was found. It's been at least a year and every day i start my vehicle i am reminded that i or any passengers in my car could be at risk in the event of an accident. I bought this car because the reviews were astounding about the safety features. Yet here i have a vehicle that i don't dare have passengers in. I basically use the car for work and only work. It's the quivelant of having a one seated car. This problem needs to be corrected asap. I have a grandson coming in may and would like to know that i am able to pick him and/or my daughter up and know that i can safely get them to doctors appointments and for visits.
